  4. This house was located behind the Town hall, it served as the ministers residence for the Congregational Minister. The Congregational Church was located on the property presently occupied by the Liverpool Curling Club.

  7. At one time, the Roy family moved there. One night, a few days later, when her husband was away, the rain and wind were terrible, and she was spooked by creaking noises coming from the attic and she called my mother. I was sent over to check...it was scary since we all knew that Rev. Ball had hung himself years before in the attic. We crept up the stairs and as we stuck our heads into the attic, a huge black something was hanging up there blowing back and forth. We all ran down stairs and called the local policeman. He found an old fur coat hanging from a nail! The Roy family soon after found another place to live. Have never forgotten that happening.
