Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I'd post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Kudos
My mother, Jo-Ann Grant's house, at the time of this photo (this and the rebuild: 1986-2009). It burnt from a chimney fire in 1993. I understand that Basil Shatford owned it in maybe the '30s and '40s (when my grandmother was in Liverpool). Matthew Jones, I believe, owned it when it was damaged by flood and bought by the town. That's when we moved in. The house was about 150 years old (insulated with sawdust and seaweed). I've been told it was built by a sea captain, and at one point the milkman lived in it.
THIS IS WHERE KRISTA HENDERSON'S HOUSE IS NOW JUDY F

ReplyDeleteI think the original owner was Shatford and the house burned down.
ReplyDeleteThe original owner was Basil and Fannie Stafford, after she died he sold the house to Matthew Jones. I used to be his neighbor.
