I lived in this house for a while when I was a kid (1993). I loved it with its back stairs and weird layout upstairs, and big old fireplaces and bread ovens. It was creepy and mysterious for a kid.
My aunt Clair was a fantastic cook and entertainer for company who used everything the house offered. The boards one could see were brought from New England just after the town was founded as a community.
