Searching for homes of some people...do you remember where they lived?
Been researching a project for 2 years and am wondering if anyone might remember where the following people may have lived in the Liverpool area - in some cases I know the street but not which house it was.....

"Lester Smith - Union Street" I delivered newspapers on Union St in the early 70's. I think he was one of ny customers. If he had a son named Barry they lived in the first Unit of the row houses as you travel towards the river. The house would have been in line with the street "Park/Parker???) that comes across from Payzant Street. Jim Minard = minard58@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteThe Lester Smith that I knew lived across from the municipality building with a big garden beside his house. I remenber visiting the house where Barry lives to visit his mother, probably 30 years ago, but don't remember her husbands name.

Roswell Nickerson lived in the second house on the right going up school st.. his grandson David Nickerson lives there now
ReplyDeleteAustin Clattenburg, a former sheriff for Queens County, lived on Brunswick Street...I can show you where!
ReplyDeleteHarry McLeod (Harris MacLeod), my great uncle lived in various places around town at different times. He never owned a house, always rented. Was the light keeper at Fort Point until 1954.
