Etc Giftshop was located on Main Street where ADJA Studio and Gallery is now situated. In my younger days (1970s) it housed Howard's Jewelry and was owned by Robert and Wilma Howard. I recall going in with my mom and the place sparkled from top to bottom. The jewelry was beautiful and the silver glistened. I was in awe and have never forgotten it. I'm not sure what was in the building after Howards closed for business but perhaps it was Etc Giftshop, owned and operated by Charlie Welch. It was a great little shop with office and stationery supplies, almost a smaller version of Staples. Ball & Skein moved into this spot for a few years, owned by Daphne Ackermann. The building was purchased by Andrew Danylewich and wife Julie Anne (Babin) and after many renovations ADJA opened. Another nice addition (and very unique) to Main Street and presently ADJA continues to operate at this spot. Their window is always interesting to view with many artists' work on display. It's even better to go in and have a look around not only at their paintings but the jewelry as well.
